What Is a Screenplay?

Screenplay is different to a novel and a play because a screen plays an outline for a movie or a series of images, scenes, and sequence that are strung together with dialogue and description. whereas a in a novel the storyline and the dramatic action usually take place inside the head of the main character with in the mindscape of dramatic action. when other characters are brought into actions the storyline embraces their point of view but the action always returns to the main character. in a play the storyline occurs on stage
